On 28 th of September 2018 the project activities were accomplished.
The overall objective of the project is to foster entrepreneurship and youth businesses creation in the Lithuania and Poland border region. The general aim to show the border region youth that Business can be simple, if you have a good idea, some support from professionals, and general knowledge on business processes.
“Welcome to the business land” project oriented on solving the problem of low youth entrepreneurship in the border regions. The main reasons of the problem to be solved by the project:
- youth see business difficult and are afraid on failure;
- youth lack of motivation to start small business;
- youth do not have leaders able to guide them in the business start phase.
Main results of the project were achieved: the training material “Business in Lithuania” for Polish teachers and “Business in Poland” for Lithuanian teachers were prepared, Business leader’s competition was implemented, International economic forum was organized, which resulted long lasting cooperation between youth, education and business support institutions, conditions for active participation in BONUS social partnership model were created.
Active partnership of project beneficiaries (PI „PVC“ and “Euroregion Niemen” association) and social partners (schools, business companies, business support institutions) proceeded during all project implementation period especially in the Business leader’s competition.
Project fostered international entrepreneurship in the cross border region and common competitiveness of the border regions. It is believed that project results created the main preconditions for improving of economic livability and young business creation in cross border regions, focus on young generation entrepreneurship skills development and motivation to come back to their native towns with new business ideas.

Total projects size is 49973, 25 EUR. Out of them co-funding of European Regional Development Fund is 42 477,25 EUR.
